We are excited to be the designer for the new Autocar Process Line Expansion on Pinson Valley Parkway. As acting designer, we are working closely with the client to design the building that is best suited for their needs as we guide and lead the preconstruction phase. Autocar was founded in 1897 and has thrived ever since—today they have the leading number of clean vehicles on the road utilizing CNG (compressed natural gas) power.
We are honored to celebrate employee Charles B. McKinstry as this year marks his tenth year with Murray Building Company! Wanting to really make it truly memorable, we decided to go for the element of surprise. So after a routine company-wide meeting, we called everyone into another conference room where, unbeknownst to Charles, his wife and three children were waiting to celebrate him with us. MBC is fortunate to have a team player like Charles, whose hard work and dedication is an inspiration to many. Cheers to ten years, Charles! And here’s to many more.
Construction has just begun for the new Ardent Preschool at Patchwork Farms. Formerly Covenant Classical School, this is the second preschool and daycare MBC will build for this client. Designed by TurnerBatson, the 22,630 SF building will feature 18 classrooms, multiple playgrounds, a splashpad area, as well as an interior courtyard. The project is set to be completed by the end of the year.
