Blaine House, Director of Corporate Operations – While still in High School Blaine first became interested in the construction and development industry while working for a Birmingham surveying company. This summer job gave Blaine some insight into all the possibilities a career in civil engineering would possibly present. In 1994 Blaine chose to attend Auburn University where he would study to become a civil engineer. While enrolled at Auburn, Blaine worked as a geotechnical technician and later as a student intern for the Civil Engineering Department, furthering his experience in the field. Upon receiving a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Auburn in 1998, Blaine worked as a lead project manager for a civil design firm in Birmingham. This experience in design and project management opened the door for Blaine to as a development manager for a prominent real estate developer, providing him the opportunity to manage challenging projects with complex budgets.

Blaine's next career move was to direct operations and business development for a civil engineering firm in Birmingham. This experience prepared Blaine for his current position as Director of Corporate Operations with Murray Building Company.
