preconstruction
Our in-house preconstruction experts will work with you on the front end to establish goals for a financially viable project. Remaining in contact with the design team throughout every phase of the project from schematic design and design development through completed construction documents allows us to aid in establishing and maintaining the scope of work to include phasing, scheduling, procurement, and close out. Working together through cost estimates, value engineering, and subcontractor selection will allow for a more streamlined bidding process, thus providing a finished product on-time, and within budget.

design-build
The design-build approach is an efficient method of streamlining the entire project by taking responsibility in the design phase. Murray serves as a single point of contact for the Owner, coordinating the project from conception to completion. This method can decrease the Owner’s overall job costs, and significantly reduce the delivery schedule. By working as one cohesive unit, the designers, engineers, and contractor are able to eliminate potential change order items, foresee scheduling conflicts, discuss and implement value engineering and deliver a successful end product on time, and within the Owner’s budget.

general construction
Our Company is committed to the success of your project, and has experience both in large scale new construction, and small fit-out and renovation projects. We understand the complexities of working in and around functioning facilities as well as the need for environmental noise control. Our team is experienced in Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA), and in working within facilities that must remain operational throughout construction. Our team utilizes the EDGE Guard Barrier System, a proven method that exceeds environmental disturbance requirements set forth by the Owner, while maintaining the aesthetics of the working facility. There are many regulations associated with renovation projects, and our team will provide due diligence with the local municipalities in order to ensure that your project remains on schedule, while adhering to all local and government requirements. Our team of professionals will manage your project on-site, while providing support from both our preconstruction and management teams in the home office. We are committed to safety, and work closely with OSHA and local agencies in ensuring that our team applies the best Quality Control practices at every step of the project. Our commitment to safety in the workplace is evident by our EMR rating of .76.

construction management
As Construction Manager, we are able to define the scope of work, provide estimating services, create and manage bid packages and contractor bid lists as well as provide bid management and construction administration services. We will operate as the Owner’s representative, managing all aspects of the project and leading the team through finalizing objectives, scheduling, procurement of materials and equipment, and mobilization on-site. Our team remains active as the Client’s representative from site selection through final punch list and Owner move in.

Murray Building Company provided our church with preconstruction consultation, budgeting services for multiple design phases, schedule management cost savings analysis, and more. Their team interacted with our design consultants, building committee, joint finance committee, and church officer groups wonderfully to manage and guide our preconstruction efforts, resulting in a project that was on schedule and under budget.
