The Daniel Payne Middle School project consisted of a 14,500 SF addition, which included a new gymnasium and activity building, a connector lobby to the existing building, an expansion of the existing cafeteria and a secured basketball court area.Back to Institutional Projects
The existing gymnasium was renovated to create a new band room and computer lab. During construction of the gymnasium, we encountered unsuitable soils which required deep foundation work. This included pilings of up to 50′ feet deep in certain areas. Fire alarm systems were upgraded, and the existing service court and garbage storage/pickup area was improved.
