Custom Single-Family Residential Construction

Although the majority of MBC’s projects are non-residential in nature, some single-family residential projects are the right fit. For this reason, our staff includes individuals with quality residential experience, and we evaluate every single-family residential project presented. The project may involve products/specifications that are commercial in nature, or the client may work with MBC based on a previous relationship we have enjoyed with them. Sometimes the client requires a higher level of professionalism and attention to detail than can be achieved with many residential contractors.

Montgomery Residence
Mountain Brook, AL
MBC was selected to perform renovations to several areas of this unique residence. Projects included a terrarium upgrade, patio door and exterior wall renovations, and a complete fit-up of an existing basement into a living area, bedroom, bath, and laundry room.

Aletheia House Renovations
Birmingham, AL
Among the services that Aletheia House provides are substance abuse treatment services and transitional housing for people on the road to recovery. MBC was invited to bid on renovations to multiple packages of houses procured by Aletheia House, and was awarded the first package of six (6) houses. Working with the client’s program manager, Construction Program Management, MBC was proactive in helping define the scope of work for the project so that the renovations were compliant with the building code. The first package of houses was completed in December 2009.
