Daniel Murray holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Daniel strives to inspire and lead the team by forming strong client relationships built on integrity and trust. His focus is making sure Murray as a company is a place where people can succeed and grow, and that these individuals know they are building something that is going to last. Serving as visionary for the company and ensuring that each generation is committed to teaching and leading the next is Daniel’s ultimate goal at Murray Building Company.
Chad Wilson holds a B.S. degree in Building Science from Auburn University. His experience in the construction industry as both a Field Manager and Project Manager as well as a Senior Program Manager have lent him the necessary experience in a role as Leadership Development Director, and finally Director of Construction Services for Murray. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Chad manages projects as well as personnel with a collaborative team effort.
Jason McRae holds a B.S. degree in Construction Engineering Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi. As Director of Preconstruction Services, Jason works to ensure that each owner walks away at the conclusion of their construction project saying “wow, that was a great experience”. With an extensive background in both project management and estimating, Jason brings a unique perspective toward managing cost while also keeping in mind the challenges and complexity of construction projects. Jason excels at working with, and leading teams through the preconstruction process.
Billy Hand holds his BS in Civil Engineering from Auburn University and his J.D. from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law.Billy’s prior roles in design and in commercial construction over the past 38 years work together to position him well as Vice President of Project Development. He is adept at capturing our client’s vision; collaborating with the design teams; navigating the approval agencies; and acting in a support role for Murray’s Construction Services team through the delivery of the project. Billy’s role includes new project development; legal and risk management; and leadership development support. He is passionate about building excellent relationships.
Amy is an accounting professional with over fifteen years of experience in the construction industry. Her expertise in cash management, fixed asset accounting, job cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and financial statement preparation are what makes her an essential part of our team.
Marcial has a B.S. degree from Auburn University in Building Science and over 20 years of construction project management experience in a broad variety of project types and sizes. With a strong focus on details and understanding the Owner/Architect vision for a project, he utilizes his experience and relationships in the industry to execute the work in a highly effective manner.
As a General Superintendent with Murray Building Company, Rusty brings a strong foundation of experience with over 20 plus years in the construction industry. Rusty brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to his role as he has managed a variety of large projects in healthcare and retail over the years and successfully building long lasting relationships with owners and design teams. After many years of managing projects, Rusty is now enjoying the opportunity to mentor future leaders in the construction industries. With passion for encouraging and equipping construction professionals, Rusty enjoys teaching what can’t be taught in text book and knows the importance of building repour with fellow coworkers, subcontractors and owners. Rusty enjoys spending time with his wife of 18 years traveling and working on their home. He enjoys being involved with his church and is blessed with 3 children, 2 son in-laws, 1 daughter in-law and 4 grandsons.
Casey has over a decade of industry experience, and specializes in heavy industrial, municipal, power, and commercial projects. His attention to detail, strong safety awareness, and focus on quality have made him an integral part of our team. Casey is a graduate of Mississippi State University.
Barrie Wilson serves as the Executive Assistant providing administrative support to the President and other members of the leadership team. Barrie also assists with executive outreach and external relations, and helps to manage marketing communications, internal teambuilding, and external events for the company. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia.
Wilson has a background in healthcare project management. He is now enjoying providing value to clients through preconstruction services. His strengths are in his detailed approach in producing quality estimates and his desire to deliver the best product for the client. Wilson holds a degree from Auburn University in Civil Engineering.
Kalyn Murray has a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and M.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her background is in industrial project management, specializing in deep foundations, concrete foundations and earthwork, and industrial structural design, specializing in concrete foundations and steel structures. She has a passion for the construction industry and now works with the preconstruction team preparing estimates, building relationships in the industry and providing quality service to clients.
Colin holds a B.S. degree in Building Science and a minor in Business from Auburn University. While enrolled at Auburn University, Colin completed three different internships throughout the southeast with a very reputable healthcare contractor. After graduating in 2017, he joined that company full time in his hometown, Birmingham, Alabama, renovating hospitals. Healthcare construction taught him from the start to be mindful of the client, detail oriented and efficient. Colin specialized in safety, field management, collaboration, scheduling, and coordination with the trade partners and clients. His exposure to a variety of roles has given him a jumpstart to a successful career in the construction industry.
Reed is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction. He was exposed early on to the construction industry through his father’s residential business, then completed two internships while at Auburn where he gained valuable knowledge of both industrial and commercial construction projects. He went on to secure a position after graduation as an Assistant Project Manager, managing a variety of commercial projects throughout North Alabama. Reed has a desire for building strong relationships within the construction industry while using his skillset to deliver a top quality product to his client.
Lisa serves as the Accounting Clerk helping with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Human Resources. She has over thirty years of accounting and administrative experience with ten of those being in the construction industry.
Madeline Adair serves as the receptionist/office manager and helps run social media platforms as well as help plan company events. She attended Samford University and graduated in 2018 with a degree in Marketing. Madeline has a passion for cultivating relationships and sparking creativity within the team.
